Those who know me also know I'm a doomsday fanatic about the end of the petroleum era. As such, I felt compelled to make my first comic book all about that. It is called SPOILED and will be coming soon to TCAF!

And Kimball has become increasingly concerned with gas consumption (I think the high price to fill his tank is what did it). I know he'll want to read your story and yet dread it at the same time :) Dread because it means altering the way we live and that's always kind of scary.

Thanks, you two! I'm really glad you like it, I feel really good about it (but can always see where to improve!).
If Kimball is a vegetarian out of a love for animals, he might feel fine about changing his lifestyle (ie. drive less) if he also falls in love with nature and the planet. I know, sounds flaky, but I hope you'll both enjoy the comic! :-)

Read this last night, and was really impressed. Political without the soapbox, meaningful without pulling out the Message Hammer. And your design sense really carries over to your illustration, which is completely charming.

I publish a compilation zine on mental health but specifically mental health in a political context - like how to stay sane and healthy given the crises we face as a society. Any chance you'd be interested in submitting a frame or two?
